Michigan is well known for its unpredictable weather and it’s become an inside joke of sorts for those who live here — when we’re not sobbing over our eternal winters, of course. (Only half kidding.) We’re one week into July and have had one or two scorchers wedged in between otherwise CHILLY summer days. I’ve commented more than once to Max that it’s felt like a brisk October day… which I don’t actually mind. 🙂 And what better time than a faux-autumn day to blog this styled shoot shot last October? Max and I spent that morning in Wixom, Michigan, clutching our coffees and crunching through the forest to the shoot location. We got 100% lost but it was worth it. Such a beautiful spot and the light was PERFECT.
Feast your eyes! Incredible photos by Sarah Dunn, impeccable styling and florals by Kaitlin Parisho Designs. Those two are a match made in wedding vendor heaven. I’m beyond thrilled to have been a part of this shoot recently featured on Style Me Pretty, contributing wooden signage and a marriage certificate.
Ready to have your mind blown? This was Kaitlin’s very FIRST styled shoot. Like, ever. Didn’t she do an absolutely amazing job? And how sweet is this couple! At the time of the shoot they had dated for over nine years and had recently become engaged.
Those florals. That Sweet Heather Anne naked cake. The SUCCULENTS. There are macaroons floating in little glass orbs in a woodland canopy. I die.
Big thanks again on inviting me to be a part of this gorgeous shoot, Kaitlin! xo
