Better late than never, right? Caitlin and Lucas’ Toronto Hunt Club wedding was three years ago tomorrow and — like 95% of my work — I have been just SITTING on these photos. And it’s a crying shame too as these invites are a real beaut! Caitlin wanted her suite to be soft, romantic, and feminine, incorporating a color palette of blush, light and dark heather greys, and the tiniest bit of peach. To top it all off, we incorporated a minimal amount of gold by embossing a custom floral monogram on the invitation card as well as a gold embossed element on the RSVP card.

I adore the envelope calligraphy on this wedding suite! Clean and crisp — and topped by vintage postage, of course.
And because we love a good belly band around here, we had the custom monogram gold foil stamped onto a circular tag with a blush watercolor background. Tied around the invites with a gold and white baker’s twine, it was the perfect way to keep all of the pieces together while in transit to Caitlin and Lucas’ guests.
The above stamp was used to transform their custom calligraphy monogram into a gold embossed crest! We utilized this design across their save the dates and various day-of materials for their Toronto Hunt Club wedding ceremony and reception.
My favorite detail of these wedding invitations is a bit hidden and requires some guest observation! While the front of the invitation card is the keeper for all important information and the lovely gold and floral monogram, the back of the invite is a simple quote written in black calligraphy: “Together is a beautiful place to be.” That it is. Happiest three year anniversary, Caitlin and Lucas! May year four be the best one yet. Want a bespoke invitation suite of your very own, or to customize this suite for yourself? I’m your girl.
